Could The Spice Girls Be Headlining 2016's Biggest Festivals? This Is TOO GOOD

In what could be the most exciting news EVER, it looks like the Spice Girls could be set to reunite just in time for Isle of Wight festival next year. Yes, way...

The Spice Girls have been teasing us with the thought of a reunion for years but now, as today's newspapers claim, this time round we could *actually* see Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm bring back their respective Posh, Ginger, Scary, Baby and Sporty Spice persona's just in time for next season's biggest festivals.

We won't need to tell the Spice Girls enthusiasts amongst you that for David Beckham's 40th birthday bash in Morocco earlier this year, the girls enjoyed a little micro reunion — sans Scary Spice — all of their own. And it seems we weren't the only one's who's desire of seeing them get back together was fuelled by seeing them in one place.

According to The Sun newspaper, the main man at Isle of Wight festival John Giddings is the guy trying his best to make the Spice Girls reunion a thing. His ultimate goal? To see them perform at next year's festival to mark the 20th anniversary of the first song the girls released. Of course, we're talking about Wannabe...

And you know what? He's not off to that bad a start either. Just this weekend past, he managed to get 3 out of 5 of them down to the Isle of Wight  to see Fleetwood Mac perform at the festival, where Geri even said that they'd be up for it. Oh my days!

We quote: 'I'm with Emma and Mel [C]. That'll be our first performance — in the mosh, in the pits.'

Don't tease us now Ginger. You know what those words can do to us...

Can you imagine anything more blissful than jamming out to Say You'll Be There whilst drinking lukewarm cider and praying that whatever liquid just rolled down your leg is the same thing that's in your plastic cup? Nope; us either.

MAKE IT HAPPEN, JOHN.
