Chloe Moretz's career is going from strength to strength with highly acclaimed movies Kick Ass and Hugo under belt, and now the 15-year-old has revealed a new movie role… the eponymous role in a remake of the Stephen King classic Carrie.
The original 1976 movie starred Sissy Spacek as the bullied teen Carrie White who discovers she has telekinetic powers. So compelling was Spacek's performance in the role, that it earned her an Oscar nomination. Could such accolades be on the cards for Chloe too?
Taking to Twitter to reveal her thrilling news to fans, Chloe tweeted: "Never been so happy in my life! Thank you Kim Pierce and thank you MGM for the chance of a lifetime. I will never forget!"
Already a seasoned horror actress - starring in the vampire flick Let Me In - no doubt Chloe will be in her element.
