Cheryl Fernandez-Versini shocked us all two weeks ago when she took to her Instagram to tell her fans she'd gone under the hairdressing scissors to undergo a bold new 'do but nothing could have prepared us for what she actually did.
Chopping off her trademark tousled waves, Cheryl unveiled her new multi-layered crop cut and her newly dyed red-toned locks to her 1.3 million-strong following, to a host of mainly positive feedback.
Clearly, she's been feeling her short style since getting it cut in — so much so that now she's dared to go EVEN shorter and redder! Once again taking to her Instagram to show off her new look, Cheryl decided not to caption the snapshot to let the photograph do all of the talking. And boy does it say a LOT.
Instead of going all-out in the texture stakes like she did when she last got the chop, this time Cheryl has embraced the poker-straight look which makes her fresh 'do look 100% edgier.
With a mix of longer layers towards the base of her neck and shorter layers close to her face, we bet this cut is just as flattering front-on as it is on the angle in the pic. Now, Cheryl, whenever you get a sec, we'd like to see a 360°please...
The Fight for this Love songstress isn't the only A-lister who's dared to go even shorter in the last week — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also upgraded her 'lob' for a chin-grazing, super-short style which she too shared on her Instagram last week.
