Cheryl Fernandez Versini and husband Jean Bernard made a whistle stop visit to Paris Couture Fashion week yesterday to show their support for Ralph & Russo – the only British-based couture house to be permitted to show in the French capital.
Joining Dita von Teese on the FROW, Cheryl opted for a chic tailored outfit, cinching a 1940s style jacket at the waist which she teamed with a pair of slim black trousers. The singer kept her look demure with a black chiffon scarf at the neck, and her hair scraped back in a side parting.
This was the first public appearance Cheryl has made since the end of the X Factor back in December, and she couldn't have chosen a more glamourous opportunity to step back into the spotlight than the close of Paris Couture Week.
It's not surprising Cheryl chose the Ralph & Russo to break her media silence: after all, the design duo were the ones responsible for dressing her in the black statement floor-sweeper that she wore to her wedding party after her marriage to Jean Bernard Versini back in July last year.
Clearly proud of the label and impressed with the show, Cheryl took to Instagram to share a snap of her with Dita and the message: 'Such a stunning show for Ralph & Russo today. The only British haute couture house to be accepted to show here in Paris in 100 years.'
Something tells us we'll be seeing Cheryl in many more dresses from this design house.
