It looks like Cheryl Cole won’t be taking any time out after promoting her new album and working on Girls Aloud’s anniversary reunion, as it’s just been confirmed she’ll have a starring role on Glee!
After working with Matthew Morrison on their film What To Expect When You’re Expecting, Cheryl obviously impressed him enough to earn a guest slot, which Glee star Jane Lynch, has just confirmed!
Jane, who plays Sue Sylvester, said: "There's been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it's set to happen now. Matthew Morrison has spoken very highly of her and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on… Cheryl's the perfect Glee fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself."
Following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, who starred on the show last season, and Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson, who both have guest slots confirmed, it seems like Glee is the hottest celeb ticket in town! We can’t wait to see who Cheryl will play!
