Cheryl Cole is officially back on the map after a series of public appearances, looking oh-so chic for her role reprieve on this year's The X Factor. Not doing anything by halves, the singer has been headlining gig after gig promoting her new music too, so it comes as no surprise that the 30-year-old has got a whole new image to go along with her superstar comeback.
We've noticed that Cheryl has ditched her trademark tousled waves over the past few weeks in favour of a sleek, ruler-straight style instead. Most recently clocked at Capital FM's Summertime Ball wearing a cool Karl Lagerfeld tee, we reckon it's a 'do that's about to go stellar. The key to pulling off this look is the middle parting - opt for one to the side and you'll really run the risk of looking dated. We also recommend keeping your make-up natural in tone just like Cheryl to ensure your locks look luxe, not tacky.
The quintessential style of the Noughties - back when GHD's were sold-out wherever you went - was a favourite of Cheryl's back in the early stages of her music career (above in 2006), and it looks like she's single-handedly bringing poker-straight locks back into the beauty limelight.
Time to dust off those straighteners, ladies.
