Cheryl Cole had a total retro Italian makeover this weekend, as she flew to Milan to sit FROW at the Roberto Cavalli show. Wearing an animal print trench, a pair of weighty earrings and her hair in a slicked back pony, the 30-year-old singer was the epitome of the old-school Italian fashionista.
And Cheryl was clearly loving the Italian capital, as she took to Twitter to proclaim her love of Italian men – and women. 'Italian guys are hot!… Italian girls too!' she wrote.
Ms Cole also took the opportunity to thank Mr Cavalli for her trench coat, proving that the designer clearly does dress celebrities, despite comments he made last week suggesting otherwise. Hmm.
Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding kept Cheryl company on the Cavalli FRO!W, wearing an elegant blue maxi dress. This was the Brit Award-winner's first time at Milan Fashion Week, and given the number of red carpet events Ellie's attended of late, we suspect it won't be her last.
We totally fell in love with Alexa Chung's Valentino cape that the 30-year-old wore to help judge the Woolmark Prize. We think the cape might just become our go-to this season when we can't decide what to wear. Minimum effort, maximum impact.
But if you really want to get noticed, look to Anna Dello Russo and her innovative headwear – the editor was snapped by inStyle's features editor, Hannah Rochell, making the most of a car sunroof. And the waiting paps.
