Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor on MasterChef

Gigi, an award-winning burger flipper?!

Gigi Hadid, we didn't know you had it in you! As the Victoria's Secret model lands the US MasterChef trophy for her beef patty, the model has revealed that she's somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to the humble hamburger. Speaking to judges Gordon Ramsay and and Christina Tosi, Gigi said that she ate a different burger every week when she lived in New York, on a quest for the ultimate patty; "I always say, eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane".

She's not the only celeb to have a surprising hobby: in fact, a host of Hollywood's biggest names like to indulge in totally badass pastimes when they're off duty that you never even knew about. We did NOT see these secret skills coming...

Emma Watson
Emma revealed through a Twitter Q&A session that she has mastered the art of a popular zen workout. So much so, that she's officially able to teach it to others. After a silent retreat and yoga course, Emma is now qualified to teach you how to chill out. Who knew? Needless to say, that's a class we'd be happy to sign up for..

Blake Lively's Surfing Prowess
Blake Lively is one of Hollywood's most ladylike of stars. A doting mum who's always impeccably dressed in the prettiest designer gowns, she's made a name for herself as one of the most wholesome women in the biz. However, her latest hobby is anything but prim.

Taking to her Instagram account, Blake revealed that she's been pouring all her efforts into mastering the art of surfing and, after tonnes of practice, she's finally got the waves down.

In the candid snap, Blake can be seen tackling the choppy waters on a bright yellow surf board with her hands up in the air. Captioning the pic, Blake said: 'This. Happened. ...And then I fell on my a double s the rest of the day. But no one needs to know that...'

Antonio Banderas's Fashion Diploma
Depending on your birth date, you'll either know Antonio Banderas for his undead role in Interview With The Vampire, his swashbuckling sword fighting in The Mask Of Zorro or as the voice of Puss In Boots in Sherk 2.

Regardless of how you're familiar with him, you'll definitely be surprised at the latest news surrounding him. After much deliberation, the 55-year-old movie star is taking up a hobby he's always dreamt of doing.

Rather unexpectedly, the actor has enrolled at Central Saint Martins - one of the most prestigious art and design schools in the world - to take up classes in fashion design. Yep, there's a sentence we never thought we'd write...

The Hollywood heartthrob made the announcement on his official Instagram account, accompanying a picture of him leaning over a group of toiling mannequins with the caption: 'The second week of studies at Central St Martin begins. Intense, exciting, serious and fun all at the same time.' Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Speaking on UK daytime TV show Loose Women (seriously, this story just keeps getting weirder and weirder) he said of his new endeavour: 'It's something that has been on my mind for a long time. Central Saint Martins is probably one of the best schools in the world and so I am going to start studying with them. It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality. Of course, I won't stop my professional life, I'll continue acting, directing, but this is a new thing.'

Is it just us, or do you find this news totally adorable?

Kate Middleton's Deep Sea Diving Cert
When we think of Kate Middleton, a few things instantly come to mind. Glossy blow-dries for one. Coat dresses are a given. Her adorable offspring (it kinda goes without saying). And, of course, an air of grace that makes Anna Wintour look like a total slob.

All of her perfectly polished attributes make this news surrounding the Duchess of Cambridge completely unexpected. In a good way, obvs.

After tying the knot Prince William back in 2011, it's clear that, aside from the fact they're part of the royal family, their marriage is just like any other couples', and the 33-year-old is making a conscious effort to get on board with some of the things that her hubby is interested in—one of which being deep-sea diving. Yep, Wills doesn't do hobbies by halves...

In a move that should be honoured with a 'best wife ever' award, Kate's gone through gruelling training sessions to be able to accompany her Prince on his extreme diving expeditions, which he usually partakes in during their private down time. And now, after rigorous testing, Kate's officially certified to dive 98 FEET below sea level without the assistance of an instructor. Actual proof that true love runs deep—very deep.

Mila Kunis' Mad Gaming Skills
The actress is so obsessed with video games, that she's had to give herself a 'break' from it, otherwise she'd get too addicted. Her game of choice? World of Warcraft.

Angelina Jolie's Penchant For Daggers
Apparently the actress and UN Ambassador's got a pretty extensive collection of old and new daggers. Brad, a word to the wise, do NOT put a foot wrong.

Cameron Diaz's Chill-Time On A Snowboard
She claims that nothing makes her feel more alive than racing down a mountain-top on a snowboard. Throw in her stellar surfing skills and she's basically a real life Bond girl.

Leslie Mann Is A Unicycling Goddess
The funny girl is all about the unicycle, admitting that she's 'actually really good'. Apparently unicycling is BIG news in celebsville, as actors Mark Ruffalo and James McAvoy both enjoy it too...

We need to up our hobby game, stat.
