Moschino shoes signed by Kylie Minogue

Court shoes signed by Denise Van Outen and gold Adidas signed by Rod Stewart

Fancy getting your feet in this pair of Kylie Minogue’s sequined Moschino wedges, Denise Van Outen’s gold courts or Rod Stewart’s glam-rock Adidas, left? Cancer charity Macmillan is auctioning these and more at its In Their Shoes Ball – and you can get a glimpse of the goods at the Burlington Arcade.
Shopping in the historic arcade always feels so glamorously old London: a stone’s throw from Fortnum & Mason and the Ritz, the arcade is where InStylers pick up delicious pastel-hued macarons from Ladurée, I-Capture-the-Castle-esque scent from Penhaligon’s and lovely leather things from Pickett.

In other words, it’s a fairy-tale shopping paradise. This year, between 10 and 18 November, it’s hosting a “shoe trail” of star footwear to preview the goods up for auction at the annual In Their Shoes ball.

Cindy Crawford has donated a pair of glam Prada heels and shoes have also been donated by stars such as Christian Louboutin and Kevin Spacey for the glamorous gala on the 19 November.

To bid, visit or nab yourself a £150 ticket (extremely limited) to the In Their Shoes ball, sponsored by Capita, by calling 020 7840 4800 or emailing Hayley Foster.
