It comes as a surprise to literally no one that Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent are indeed a couple but the way in which the 22-year-old model publicly confirmed her relationship to the 32-year-old singer - whose real name is Annie Clark - is guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside on this cold, wet Monday in June.
Whenever you're ready, summer. Whenever you're ready. Of course, Cara's been hella busy promoting her new film Paper Towns, in which she plays the main female character Margo Roth Spiegelman, and it was during one of her back-to-back interviews that she officially addressed her and St. Vincent's very private relationship.
Unable to contain her feelings any longer Cara gushed, "I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days."
You hear that? She even dropped the L-bomb. One thing’s for sure, this girl is smitten. And we, for one, couldn't be happier for her.
The pair have reportedly been dating since the end of last year but due to the fact that Cara's spent the best part of three years very much in the public eye, she definitely has the right to be picky about when or if she wants to talk about her personal life. However, it looks like Cara now wanted to have her relationship with Annie out in the open, no doubt for the benefit of her die-hard and extremely loyal fans. Adding to her initial revelation, she said; "And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle."
We don’t know about you but we can’t think of a lovelier, more classy way to tell the world about her relationship. Kudos to you, Cara.
