Cara Delevingne is set to make her TV acting debut
Cara Delevingne is set to make her TV debut in new drama Timeless, which will air as part of Sky Arts Playhouse Presents series.
The 21-year-old will star opposite Sylvia Syms as Chloe, a young woman who is looking after her great-grandmother in the absence of her mother and grandmothers.
Despite several high profile catwalk appearances this season – yesterday's Chanel show was a highlight, as was Fendi, Burberry and her presentation for her new Mulberry bag collection – Cara is spending less and less time on the runway.
But the model has made no secret of her acting ambitions. 'Modelling is a great job, and I appreciate everything it has brought me, but it’s not my passion. As far back as I can remember I have wanted to act,' Cara recently said in an interview.
Alongside her new TV role, Cara has been cast in the upcoming Amanda Knox movie, Face of an Angel, as well as the film adaptation of Martin Amis's novel London Fields, and indie movie Kids in Love.
It looks like 2014 really is going to be Cara's year...
