When it comes to perfecting Riviera chic, there's no better hue to brave than bright white, so despite those dry-cleaning bills, it's proved the colour de jour at Cannes 2013.
White gowns punctuated almost every premiere, as seen on the likes of Rosario Dawson, Joan Smalls and Jessica Chastain, but it was at the amfAR Cinema Against Aids 2013 Gala that the trend really took off.
While Chanel Iman played it classic in a Grace-Kelly esque floor-sweeper, and as ever, Kylie Minogue favoured the Grecian goddess look in a plunging Roberto Cavalli gown, while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stole the style crown for best dressed in Christian Dior in our LOOK OF THE DAY.
But, whatever the favoured cut, these ladies know that a white delight is best served with a bronzed glow and bags of confidence. It's not just limited to dresses either - Doutzen and Rosie gave us a masterclass in serving the trend double-duty, with a pair of white-hot stilettos. Pure perfection.
