At last night's BRIT Awards Emeli Sandé Mumford and Sons and Ben Howard won big, while Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, One Direction and more stellar acts took to the stage…
Presented by James Corden and attended by the biggest names in pop and rock, the BRITs 2013 went off with a bang.
Emeli Sandé was the night's biggest winner, taking both the Best Album and Best British Female Solo Artist gongs before performing a medley of her hits to close the night. Ben Howard also scored two awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Artist and took to the stage to sing out Only Love. Continuing their music awards season domination, One Direction were crowned with the Global Success award and performed their Comic Relief song, One Way Or Another.
Best Group went to Mumford and Sons, while Coldplay took Best Live Act.
In the international categories it was Lana Del Rey and Frank Ocean who were crowned Best Female and Male Solo Artists, while Black Keys were named Best Group.
Fresh from singing live at Burberry's Autumn Winter 2013 show, Tom Odell received another nod to his man of the moment status, crowned Critics' Choice.
While she couldn't be there to collect her prize, Adele had recorded a speech in honour of her Best Single accolade for Skyfall, in which poked fun at being cut off in last year's ceremony.

In the fashion stakes,supermodel Jourdan Dunn wowed in a Balmain mini and Rita Ora showed her girly side in a stunning Ulyana Sergeenko peach hued gown.
