A huge night for UK music talent, the BRITs 2011 enjoyed an ultra glam bash with the likes of Take That, X Factor winner Matt Cardle, Cheryl Cole, Adele and Plan B rubbing shoulders with internation stars Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green and Arcade Fire.
A suited and booted James Cordon played host at the event, entertaining the crowd with his quick-quips, while awards veterans Take That - including Robbie Williams - opened the night with a lavish performance of Kidz which featured dancers in riot gear! Winning Best British Group, the reformed fivesome later celebrated at the after-party by opening a rather large tab at the bar.
Later on rap-artist Plan B took to the stage also in riot gear to perform his latest single. Is this a new trend emerging?
BRIT nominee Cheryl Cole wowed crowds in her stunning sparkly Stella McCartney dress with sizzling thigh-high split. But while she won out in the style stakes, it was a bad night for Simon Cowell's X Factor acts as Cheryl, Olly Murs, JLS, Alexandra Burke and Matt Cardle, all came away from the awards empty handed.
No hard feelings though from Cheryl as she presented Rihanna the award for International Female Solo Artist. The red-haired singer looked gorgeous in a vibrant Christian Dior turquoise and purple sparkly gown.
