Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt must have one heck of a schedule. While it goes without saying that both stars are at the top of their professional game, they’ve also got six children to look after. And that, as anyone with kids will tell you, is no small feat.
The couple – who have been thinking about relocating to the UK – have always made a conscious effort to put their family first, regardless of how busy they may be. While one of them is working on an acting or directorial project, the other will always stay at home with their brood, to ensure that at least one of them is with their children at all times. However, it looks like their time spent juggling filming new movies with taking their kids to school is about to get way trickier to manage, as they’re reportedly looking to adopt another child.
According to US website Radar, the adoption process is already firmly underway, and the Jolie-Pitts can expect to welcome the new addition to their family in the early months of 2016. EEK.
The report reveals that, ‘On one solo trip, Angelina met three Syrian orphan siblings. She was heartbroken to learn the three of them had seen their father taken away by Syrian soldiers, and their home was also bombed. And they lost their mother in the bombing.’ Yep, this is probably the most devastating thing you’ll read on InStyle.co.uk today…
While it’s been suggested that the 38-year-old UN Special Envoy for Refugees wanted to adopt all three children she met on her tour of duty, but it was ‘claimed’ that she was encouraged by Brad not to do so, with the actor allegedly saying it would be hard for their children to adjust to the sudden change in family dynamics. We don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sound like the Brad we know and love.
So, one it is. Until we’re told otherwise, anyway.
Of course, the couple are no strangers to adoption. Their three eldest children are all adopted, while their youngest three are biplogical.Their current family dynamic looks like this: Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 8, Knox, 6, and Vivienne, 6.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of a better family to take on another child in need. The Jolie-Pitts really are an inspiration.
