Blake Lively is certainly making up for lost time, isn't she? After revealing that she's expecting her first child with Hollywood heart-throb Ryan Reynolds in the chicest way possible - in a Sepia-hued snap on her lifestyle blog Preserve, obvs - it's clear she is no longer under her self-inflicted house arrest.
Instead, she's flaunting her blossoming baby bump for all to see, earning herself the title of the most sartorially-savvy mum-to-be we've ever seen in the process. Well, would you expect anything less?
After hitting the red carpet for the first time since she shared the happy news in a floor-sweeping Michael Kors beaded tulle gown, she has since treated us to some major style inspro. Just this weekend, the 27-year-old actress rocked not one, not two but THREE amazing ensembles that are definitely worthy of your attention...
Tackling this season's tricky '70s trend like a pro, Blake first stepped out in a show-stopping, Aztec print coat from designer Lindsey Thornburg; ideal for battling the chill that has just hit NYC. Unlike other expecting gals, Blake has (for the time being) decided to shun the allure of comfy sweatpants, opting for a cute flippy skirt from another one of her favourite off-duty labels, Sam & Levi. Finished with on-point tan, knee high boots, this is one maternity look we'd gladly sport even though we're not expecting. Who'd have thought?!
However, this look was only the beginning of Blake's impeccably styled weekend...
Keeping up with the '70s vibe, we later spotted Blake as she made her way across town with friends working yet another offbeat maternity get-up. Impressively, she managed to style out a silky jumpsuit which would be a struggle for most to get right minus a baby bump.
We don't know about you but this Labrador-puppy print has to be one of the cutest things we've ever seen...
Blake kept her look understatedly glam by pairing her kitsch-print onesie with gold metallic courts and a sleek burgundy boyfriend coat. Yep, we want our autumnal wardrobes to look like THAT.
For her last enviable outfit, Blake put her toned pins on show once again in a seriously cute printed mini dress. Giving her feet a well-earned break from heels, she opted for yet another pair of tan boots which picked out the coral hue in her dress perfectly.
Topping off her look with a grey wool coat complete with elbow-length sleeves and a practical cross-body bag, the starlet is living proof that just because you're pregnant, it doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your own personal style.
Blake, you've officially given maternity dressing the good name it deserves, and that's no small feat. Keep up the good work, lady.
