It's been rumoured for some time, but now it's been confirmed: Beyoncé will be performing at the Brits 2014 tonight. So if you've got plans, cancel them, because there's only one place you should be this evening, and that's in front of the TV.
The night's host, James Corden, was the man responsible for confirming the news. Speaking to BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball this morning, James said: 'There's this weird thing with this year's Brits where I've been - more than any other year - told things I can't say. But I figure it's the day... I must be able to tell you? Beyoncé. Beyoncé is performing tonight.'
And if that wasn't exciting enough, James also revealed that Bey has another musical trick up her sleeve (although we doubt she'll be wearing one) for us. 'She's performing a track she has never ever performed live before. Ever.' James told BBC 2 listeners.
Beyoncé, who begins a tour of the UK tomorrow in Glasgow, will join Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, the Artic Monkeys, Lorde and Bruno Mars to perform at the awards show.
And with Prince rumoured to be making an appearance (the pint-sized pop star has been gallivanting around London for the past week playing secret shows), we think the Brits 2014 might be one to remember...
