Beyoncé Knowles has been praised for championing sexy toned curves for as long as we can remember.
But did you know that her fabulous figure has inspired a new skyscraper in Australia?
Yes, really. This is actually happening.
Dubbed the Premiere Tower, the building looks set to dominate the already impressive Melbourne skyline.
Situated in the city's central business district, the high-rise will be made up of luxurious flats, vast retail spaces and fancy hotel rooms.
It’s been estimated that the bootylicious 68-story building will take 40 months to construct. Investors have stumped up a massive $300m for the project.
Architectural firm Elenberg Fraser confirmed the news on their website.
'This project is the culmination of our significant research into how to best work with individual site and climatic constraints, brought together using our new parametric modelling techniques,' the award-winning company stated.
'The complex form – a vertical cantilever – is actually the most effective way to redistribute the building’s mass, giving the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirement.'
Here's the best bit.
They continued: 'Art and science? You betcha. For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic – we’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost.'
Struggling to conjure up an image of exactly what Beyoncé looks like in the video?
Hint: She writhes around dressed in nothing but sheet of fabric.
Here’s a little reminder...
Move over waxworks, lunchboxes and bed covers, this has to be the most flattering celebrity tribute yet.
