The untimely death of troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has been met with famous friends and fans alike paying their respects via Twitter as well as with dedications at the singer’s Camden home but today saw her nearest and dearest gather at a North London cemetery to pay their last respects at her funeral.
Kelly Osbourne was among Amy’s A-list friends at the funeral, arriving in black clutching a white rose and styling her white blonde hair in a beehive, perhaps a tribute to her late friend’s statement hair style.
Meanwhile Back to Black producer Mark Ronson hid his eyes in his trademark shades, wearing a slick black suit with a silver tie.
The tragic death of the talented star has seen a spike in sales of her first album, Back to Black, with it looking likely to knock Adele of the top spot of the UK charts this weekend.
Adele paid her respects for Amy on her website, stating: "I don't think she ever realised just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming. Although I’m incredibly sad about Amy passing I’m also reminded of how immensely proud of her I am as well. And grateful to be inspired by her. Amy flies in paradise xx".
