Announced as the face of Lacoste’s new fragrance, Eau de Lacoste, Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams has opened up about her world of smell and the memories that are built on it.
A fresh scent that fuses classic fragrance notes with modern ingredients, at the heart of Eau de Lacoste are pineapple flower, jasmine sambac, rose and orange flower.
A fan of jasmine, Amy revealed: “Recently I was in Ravello, Italy, and it was a perfect temperature and the wind was blowing and I could smell jasmine and orange blossom and now, to this day, if I’m stressed out, I think of that moment and it’s one of the things I use to try and relax myself. So I planted a jasmine outside my window, to bring that calm back to me.”

And flowers seem to have always played an important part of forming her memories of home, as Amy admitted: “When I was very young in Virginia, we had white flowers, which I now know is Honeysuckle, and we used to smell them. And also apple and cherry blossoms in DC. I’ve always been attracted to that sort of white floral scent.”
No doubt Eau de Lacoste will help to create many a fond memory for the future.
