The Oscar-nominated actress has clearly been influenced by her role in the award-winning movie
Amy Adams attended a swanky Hollywood bash yesterday dressed not only in the same colour as the red carpet, but similarly to her character in American Hustle.
Clearly enamoured with the Seventies fashions that dominated the movie in which she stars, Amy stepped out in striking tomato-red shirt and matching flared trouser for the Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon ahead of the Oscars.
The 39-year-old actress is up for the Best Actress gong for her role in David O.Russell's movie, which also stars Jennifer Lawrence.
Diane von Furstenberg and Halston were two of the designers who contributed vintage designs to the 70s era movie, and since its release, sites such as eBay have since as much as a 200% rise in sales of 70s style clothes.
It seems that even the film's cast aren't immune to the American Hustle effect...
