Alexa Chung is the latest classic British beauty to front Longchamp's Spring 2014 ad campaign, and from the looks of her behind-the-scenes pictures from sunny St Tropez, it's shaping up to be a retro-tinged beauty.
Following in Kate Moss' esteemed footsteps, the 30-year-old style icon will be starring in the French brand's SS14 campaign to mark the 20th anniversary of its best-selling statement ware, the Le Pliage bag.
Longchamp's colour-splashed retro shoot, captured by Max Vadukul and styled by Alexis Roche, shows its latest muse in a variety of enchanting poses as she parades the label's luxury leather goods against St Tropez's beautifully plush French scenery.
In the main campaign image, Alexa is seen behind the wheel of a power blue Fiat convertible as she winds down the sun-soaked country lanes with her bright yellow Le Pliage by her side, hair gorgeously tousled in the wind and classic cool-girl camera glare nailed in true Alexa-style.
The full print campaign will be unveiled in February and we're already itching to see it in full... And to book our next sunshine break. Who's with us?
