Alexa Chung has stepped off the red carpet and into the kitchen (well, tent) to take part in this year's Great Comic Relief Bake Off. Now we know the 31-year-old is able to turn her hand to most things, be it modelling, writing a book, designing clothes or interviewing other celebrities, but we didn't have her down as a master baker. Yet, that is.
And it's not just Alexa who will be picking up her spatula and mixing bowl to try and impress Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry – this year's charity bake-a-thon looks set to be the best yet, with a whole host of celebrities (yes, ones you've actually heard of) showing off their cooking skills… or lack thereof.
It's going to be big on the LOLs with Victoria Wood, Joanna Lumley, Jonathan Ross, Jennifer Saunders, Dame Edna Everage and David Mitchell all taking part, while Chris Moyles and Jameela Jamil will be representing the radio community. Not forgetting Abbey Clancy, Gok Wan, Michael Sheen, Lulu and Kavyan Novak. Oh, and Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah. Sure. But something tells us it will be beauty vlogger and all-round Youtube sensation Zoella who is responsible for taking viewing figures go through the roof.
The Celebrity Bake Off will begin on February 11 and run over four nights, with a celebrity being crowned Star Baker each evening.
Who are you rooting for?
