Cara Delevingne, Poppy Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse head to Downing Street together

Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, Poppy Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse have been snapped walking, sitting and snapping FROW-side at every noteworthy London Fashion Week show over the past few days but last night the girls swapped the catwalk for Number 10 as they headed to Downing Street for a lavish fashion week party.

Hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron's wife, Samantha Cameron, the reception at one of London's most iconic residences marks the end of LFW and celebrates another very successful season for the designers and industry alike.

So, it seems only fitting that the ultimate Brit It girls were all in attendance...

We clocked Cara Delevingne with her sister Poppy and model pal Suki  - who, earlier in the day, stormed Burberry Prorsum's SS15 catwalk - leaving luxury hotel Claridges in the centre of the capital to make their way to the bash and, needless to say, their attire is sure to have raised some eyebrows at the high profile party.

Alexa Chung arrives at Downing Street

We all know that Cara isn't exactly a blushing wallflower, so it should come as no surprise that 22-year-old chose to don a rather racy ensemble for the occasion. Made up of high-shine flares and a navy fur coat, it was her black sheer lace blouse which revealed nothing more than a triangle bra underneath that made really upped the daring factor of her outfit.

Meanwhile, Poppy, 28, opted for a slightly more demure look consisting of a gold lace dress which she paired with a perspex Chanel box clutch, which hung from a sleek chain strap. Suki, 22, also kept her look rather refined, rocking a black lace dress from Louis Vuitton which featured several tiers adorned with beautiful beading and fringing.

Making her way solo to the reception was the ever-stylish Alexa Chung, who sported a long black dress, her favourite Bionda Castana heels and a pink faux fur clutch from fash pack label favourite, Shrimps. Although the 30-year-old's look was undoubtedly more paired back than her BFF's, she didn't fail to make a sartorial impact in our eyes.

Also on the coveted guest list was Suki's boyfriend and Hollywood heart-throb Bradley Cooper, who made an appearance after attending Tom Ford's SS15 catwalk show.

With LFW almost at a close, we have to admit, we're more than a little bit upset that we'll no longer get our daily fashion inspo from our favourite British girls.

Oh why can't every week be Fashion Week?
