The British singer admits having a baby at the peak of your career isn't always the best decision
Adele has opened up about motherhood for the first time, and has hinted that her decision to have a baby at the peak of her career may not have been the most sensible one.
The 25-year-old Skyfall singer, who gave birth to her first baby boy Angelo last October, reportedly warned showbiz pal Kelly Clarkson against having children when the pair caught up at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in February.
The American Idol winner, who is desparate to start a family with new husband Brandon Blackstock, told US Weekly about Adele's surprising advice on motherhood: 'She said, "Girl, don't have a baby 'cause everything else will go on the back burner. I'm living in babyland!"
Adele has taken a break from the showbiz spotlight for over a year to dote on her first baby son, Angelo, with her music manager fiance Simon Konecki.
Could the Grammy award-winner be regretting the tricky timing of her baby bundle? Perhaps, but surely one look at little Angelo's face is enough to cast any doubts aside.
