Adele has yet another shiny award to add her her growing mantelpiece of accolades. The singer and mum-of-one visited Buckingham Palace to accept her MBE, and judging by the first pictures, could hardly contain her excitement. Adele was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Prince Charles, who was standing in for the Queen.
The star wore a gorgeous black and green print long-sleeved prom by Stella McCartney with black heels and had her hair tied up into her signature sixties beehive, along with a pretty fascinator and face veil. Gorgeous!
The Someone Like You singer will now be known as Miss Adele Adkins MBE. She picked up the incredible honour for landing the best-selling single for the 21st century and two globally successful albums.
Adele, who, by the way is still only 25-years-old, also nabbed her first Oscar last year for Skyfall, and is the only female artist to ever have had three singles in the top 10 at the same time in Billboard Hot 100 chart.
As she stepped away from her little chat with Prince Charles, the singer was so elated with her visit, she got a serious case of the giggles in front of the world's press. Oh Adele, don't go changing…
