Brooklyn Beckham's Pictures From His First Campaign Shoot With Burberry

As Brooklyn Beckham announces he's shooting a campaign for Burberry, we look at why it's not such a crazy idea to book a teenage photographer instead of Mario Testino

Ask any group of 16 year-olds what they want to be when they leave school and chances are that around 20% of them will say they want to be a photographer. Of course, 0% of them will have a brother who already models for Burberry and parents called David and Victoria Beckham who are two of the most influencial people on the planet. Although the decision by Burberry to book at 16 year-old to shoot its latest Burberry Brit campaign might seem like a crazy idea, when you consider that it's Brooklyn Beckham it all makes sense.

Naturally, this is all about publicity. Brooklyn announced his exciting news on Instagram on Friday, and Burberry documented the photoshoot with the teenager as it happened on Snapchat and Instagram.

Of course, Burberry wouldn't book someone with zero talent to shoot their campaign, particularly considering the brand's long-standing relationship with highly respected photographer Mario Testino. That would just be silly. But it is a brand with a history of supporting young talent - whether it's actors or musicians - so this seems like a natural move. Plus, take a quick look at Brooklyn's Instagram account and you'll soon see evidence of someone with a keen interest in the art. Perhaps he will follow in his mother's footsteps of prooving any doubters spectacularly wrong. Remember when people said a pop star couldn't be a fashion designer...?

The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating - so take a look at the pictures for yourself. Pretty good, eh?
