Dust down your tiara and polish the family silver because The Crown is about to make an explosive return on Netflix on Friday 8th December 2017. We personally can’t breathe from all the excitement.

The Crown’s second season will see Queen Liz struggling with an unruly husband and our sass-piration, Princess Margaret meets her match in the form of her husband, Lord Snowden. God save the Queen and the Qween, indeed!

To whet your appetite further we have these world wide exclusive shots of our sister of sass, Vanessa Kirby cozying up to her new suitor, Mathew Goode - who’s god given bone structure has previously been seen in Tom Ford’s A Single Man. Hold. Us. Back.

Vanessa’s Margaret is shown posing up a storm as her usual sassy self, in a fitted early sixties strapless gown Naturally, of course, she accessorized with the Princess’s go-to, a cigarette. For the second glimpse at Margret’s new wardrobe, Vanessa slips into an elaborately decorated trapeze coat whilst Mathew slips out of his suit. The chemistry in these shots is literally electrifying!

Side note: can we also take a second to talk about Vanessa’s up do and the cheeky eyeliner flick? That’s our Christmas party look nailed!

In the latest trailer for The Crown, Princess Margaret is seen threatening to walk away from the monarchy as a ‘woman for the modern age,’ and certainly at the time marrying a fashion photographer made the pair into the most talked about couple. If these shots are anything to go by the pair are likely to be the most talked about thing from The Crown’s second season.

The new series will also feature state visits from John F Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy and will mark Claire Foy’s last foray as the Queen before being replace by Olivia Coleman in Series 3. It is not yet known who will replace Matt Smith as Prince Phillip.
