Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s appearance wasn’t the only thing we loved at Balmain Spring Summer 2014, as Olivier Rousteing championed natural beauty on day three of Paris Fashion Week.
Make-up was stripped back and totally bare as Rosie joined Georgia May Jagger and Karlie Kloss on the runway, with Tom Pecheux leading the beauty team backstage.
Not wanting to distract from the clothes, which came Eighties-inspired with prints, glitz and risqué sheer panels, Tom kept a strict no make-up rule and only used a hint of concealer where needed.
Minimalism? Oh yes! Pre-catwalk face massages were also the order for clear complexion boosts, giving girls the confidence to go au naturel in front of the fashion pack.
We’ve all seen barely-there beauty on the catwalk, but this is a completely make-up free zone. Go Balmain! JB
