The AW 2015/16 Haute Couture Collections paraded the Parisian catwalks in July and as usual they didn’t disappoint. The dresses may have been as fabulous as ever but our eyes were drawn to the beauty looks that rocked the runways. Using the models’ faces as a canvas to express their haute couture vision, designers, make up artists and hair stylists came together to create the most Pinterest-worthy beauty looks we’ve seen in a while.
From simple pared-back peach makeup at Dior and minimal chic ponytails at Giambattista Valli, to space-like face paint at John Galliano’s Maison Margiela, they had it all. Continuing our love for all things Cara, strong, dark eyebrows were still a common theme whilst wavy hair adorned with beautiful headpieces were another strong trend at Valentino and Elie Saab.
And we haven’t even mentioned Kendall yet. Looking almost unrecognisable at Chanel, Kendall’s cropped bob was the perfect accessory to her power-suit bridal finale look. A major departure from her metallic green eyes and tousled locks at Versace’s Grecian goddess-esque collection and proof that whatever the look, Kendall always rocks it. This is why we love couture people!
