Keira Knightley looked positively statuesque at the Anna Karenina film premiere in London. Keira's make-up artist Lisa Eldridge revealed all on how to achieve the movie star's romantic make-up look using Chanel cosmetics plus the inspiration behind her look…
To compliment Keira’s beautiful Chanel dress, I wanted to create a soft, pale and pretty makeup look that had a romantic feel but was careful to add strength around the eyes so the overall look wasn’t washed out against the dress," explains Lisa. "Above all, the make-up needed to be elegant and flatter Keira’s naturally beautiful face."
Get the Look:
Use Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Foundation in 10 Beige with a brush for a flawless base.
Apply Chanel's Éclat Lumière and Lift Lumière Concealer around the eyes and on high points of the face to highlight and then a light dusting of Poudre Universelle Libre on the face.
Line the upper lash with Ecriture De Chanel in Noir and soften using a powder shadow Ombre Essentielle in Ebony.
On the eyes use a mixture of Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris across the eyelid, mixing it until it is a very soft shimmer grey. Then ad a pale pink Ombre Essentielle in Liberty at the socket line to blend.
Create a smoky definition by using the Ombres Contraste Duo underneath the lashes.
Layer lashes with Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir
Lightley powder brows with Le Sourcil De Chanel in Brun for a soft, flattering effect.
On the cheeks dust Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose for a flush finish
Shape lips with Le Crayon Lévres in Natural, and finish the look with Rouge Allure in Evanescente.
