The gorgeous Cat Deeley is fresh off the plane from LA, sporting sunkissed skin, toned limbs and beautiful bouncy waves. We caught up with the man behind her tousled tresses, hair stylist Danilo, to get the low down on her new ‘do.

Danilo says: 'Glossy bouncy curls aren’t as tricky to achieve as you think, it’s all about choosing the right products and perfecting your technique; remember, practice makes perfect!'

Get Cat Deeley's bouncy waves:

1.    This style needs light, pliable hair, so you need to begin by thoroughly cleansing with a suitable shampoo. Pantene’s Pro-V Aqua Light Shampoo and Conditioner (£2.19 each, available nationwide) will cleanse hair without weighing it down.
2.    Part your hair in a side parting, then blow-dry using a large round brush, pulling hair away from the face to achieve volume at the root.
3.    Use medium-sized curing tongs to curl hair in sections, we love Umberto Giannini Smoothly Curling Tongs (£49.99, boots.com). Pin each section with a Kirby grip, spritz with a strong hold hair spray and leave to set for 5-10 minutes.
4.    Remove the Kirby grips and use your fingers to roughly comb through the curls for soft bouncy waves. Finish with an all over spray of Pantene Pro-V Volume & Body Hairspray (£2.99, available nationwide)
