Renowned fashion designer Vera Wang has announced she is expanding her international brand with the launch of an affordable range of cosmetics. The range, which will be stocked exclusively at American department store Kohl’s when it launches in 2012, is described as “an easy, light, modern and effortless approach to beauty and creativity”.
This seems like a natural progression for the designer, who shot to fame for her stunning wedding dress designs, following the launch of her diffusion clothing line Simply Vera in 2007.
The new cosmetics line joins her moderately-priced collections of fragrance, jewellery, eyewear, shoes and home-ware. If this collection proves to be as triumphant as her line of fragrance, the latest of which is fronted by Gossip Girl Leighton Meester, Vera is in for yet more success!
