While Mary Katrantzou’s collection was celebrated for its stunning stamp prints and refined shapes, each look was completed with the help of global hair brand Wella and tanning experts St Tropez.
Global creative director of Wella, Eugene Souleiman, described the hair as “Graphic Couture”, explaining: “The Mary Katrantzou collection was slick, graphic and very conceptual, and I wanted to create an elegant, almost couture-like style to bring a sense of sharpness into the look.”
The slick look was perfectly complemented by an even, tactile tan courtesy of St Tropez. St Tropez Global skin finishing expert Nichola Joss revealed: “The show features lots of light bouncing effects that bring out the detail, colours and multiple prints of Mary’s collection. To contrast and complement, I created a light-absorbing tan that came with a soft, velvet finish.”
