Beauty tips from a model are like pearls of make-up and skincare widom. These are the girls who have tried every product under the sun. They've been primped, preened and made-up to within an inch of their lives and had to take it all off again - five times a day during fashion week.
Though she keeps it simple for day "I'm just a lipgloss, blush and mascara kind of girl," she comes over all dramatic at night; "I like playing with a bright lipstick or a heavy eye... But not together!" Her essential clutch bag item for a night out? "definitely a red lipstick." And she loves Rimmel's Stay Matte foundation because "it gets rid of any shine and has a fresh, natural finish."
Lily's striking red hair has become something of a signature for the nineteen year old model, and InStyle wanted to know if she'd ever been tempted to change colour? "Absolutely! Every time I have to try on a wig for work I get excited about the colour; I've often thought about going for a platinum bob or also raven black as it looks so great against pale skin. But I always end up being loyal to my red colour."
Having encountered so many professional make-up artists in her career, she's had advice from the best in the business, so what is her one top tip to women ?"Don't overpluck your eyebrows. A make-up artist told me this once and I've always remembered it."
Lily Cole is one of the new faces of Rimmel London.
