An inevitable transition from stage to runway, when Lady Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti became creative director of Mugler, we just knew the fashion world would be treated to some Gaga-style action.
Top make-up artist Val Garland created the make-up look at Mugler, which focused on heavy, dramatic black eyeliner to create in Val's words: "Tough, chic Gaga Girls - Born this Way".
And while the models worked their heavy liner, Lady Gaga's make-up was in a league of its own, with huge winged eyes and bright red lips. She wore her hair in blonde bunches with a jet black asymmetrical fringe.
Nails for the show were styled by Nicola himself as he teamed up with Minx nails and top celeb manicurist Marion Newman with nail stylist David Barton working on all the models. Nicola wanted an animalistic, cat-claw-like nail with an elegant twist. In a variety of matte shades including noir, blue and nuit - the hues were carefully selected to match the new season collection. And the final flourish? The nails all had a jagged or 'trashed' edge which was done by stretching the Minx over the edge of each nail and twisting.
Taking to the runway like a pro, Lady G strutted her stuff with the best of them, and even took a bow at the finale of the show. We reckon this is just the start for Gags and her catwalk career.
