It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Kim Kardashian – last week she became engaged to her boyfriend Kris Humphries (a 20.5-carat sparkler worth $2million sealed the deal), then yesterday she was greeted by a stampede as she launched her self-titled perfume in Debenhams, London, and today she and her sisters have been nominated for the Next Generation Award by Forbes Magazine.
Such is the life of probably the busiest (and sexiest) entrepreneur in the world. InStyle met the curvylicious star at her perfume launch yesterday in the Dorchester, where she was dressed in a midriff-baring purple blouse and fitted orange skirt by Gucci to chat to beauty editors about her scent.
"I wanted something rich and creamy and sexy, but still youthful," she said. Youthful indeed – Kim reached out to her almost 8million Twitter followers to ask them what they wanted in a perfume. The result is a fabulously-floral concoction of honeysuckle, orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose and gardenia.
Judging by the hoardes of fans camped outside the Dorchester and Debenhams, this fragrance is bound to be a big hit.
