Kate Middleton smiles on the red carpet

Kate Middleton's glossy blow-dry helps her to top another beauty poll

Kate Middleton has topped another beauty poll, beating stars like Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian to be named the ultimate source of hair envy.

The Duchess of Cambridge also saw off competition from Jennifer Aniston, after voters confirmed Kate's quaffed tresses were more desirable than the infamous Rachel cut.

Kim Kardashian's super-tamed barnet earned her a respectable third spot, while Beyoncé edged ahead with 16 per cent. But the stylish ladies were no match for K-Middy, who bagged an impressive 19 per cent of the overall vote.

'The women questioned claimed her perfectly preened locks, with never a hair out of place combined with its natural bounce and shine was enough to turn them green with envy,' read the official results from PromotionalCodes.org.uk.

Surprisingly Jennifer Aniston only came sixth in the public survey, with those polled said to have 'loved her hair in Friends'.

Kate Middleton's signature blow-dry has been topping polls since she stepped out in her Alexander McQueen wedding dress. Even her brief time with a fringe caused women to consider a more drastic copycat cut.

'Kate Middleton has beautiful hair,' said one voter. 'I’m sure she has her off days but we never see her without a hair out of place. Her hair looks great loose or in an elaborate up-do. I’d give anything to have hair like hers.'

And Jennifer Aniston is top of the list when it comes to lusting after Kate's lucious locks. 'Kate Middleton. Does she do her hair herself? She's got a hard job, being scrutinised like that. When I have a bad hair day, my hair just goes in a clip,' she said in an interview last summer.
