InStyle searches for new make-up maestro in reality TV show Blush

Wannabe beauty gurus can win $100,000 cash and the chance to be the make-up artist on an InStyle magazine shoot

Listen up beauty fans. Fancy yourself a dab hand with a blusher brush? Think you've got what it takes to master the latest take on the smoky eye? Or simply like to watch how the experts really do it?

Then tune into new addictive reality TV show Blush, where nine hopefuls battle it out to become the make-up maestro of tomorrow. The winner will not only win big money prizes, but also be invited to be the make-up artist on a US InStyle magazine shoot.

Move over Big Brother. Forget The Apprentice. This is the kind of reality TV InStylers like... nine competitive creatives holed up in an LA house desperate to become the next make-up artist to the stars.

Tasks will include creating a "twisted disco" look for Dannii Minogue's next pop video (episode 1), working with identical twins and transforming models into famous beauty icons such as Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn. Trust us when we say this makes for hilarious TV...

Judging the contestants over six episodes are US InStyle fashion director Hal Rubenstein and make-up artist Joanna Schlip (who has worked her magic on Eva Longoria Parker and Scarlett Johansson).

Blush is on weeknights at 9pm from Tuesday 15 September on Really.
