Get your Hunters out and your dry shampoo packed because it’s that time of year again. V Festival 2011 is taking place over the weekend with the likes of Eminem and Rihanna headlining!

For some the weekend will be all about music, tepid hot dogs and no showering for 48 hours – looking good won’t get a look in. But there’ll be others who can’t say goodbye to life’s little luxuries, no matter how much fun is had.

Luckily for those of us unwilling to let our beauty standards slip we can head over to the amazingly talented team at MAC, to indulge our inner celebrities with a professional make-over. As the official beauty sponsors at the V Festival’s Virgin Media Louder Lounge, MAC will have their amazingly talented make-up artists on hand to create bespoke make-up looks on artists, celebrities and the partying public alike.

Festivals are the perfect place to step out of your everyday make-up comfort zone and go for something a little wilder. So, InStyle has teamed up with the make-up experts at MAC to bring you this fab how-to video showing you how to achieve the gold-leaf look a la Emma Watson at the Harry Potter premiere.

Check out our video to see MAC pro Cher Webb creating the look …
