From Lea Michele's pale pink lip to Natalie Portman's chic chignon, pretty ballet-inspired beauty reigned supreme at this year's Golden Globes. Find out which stars' hair and make-up looks we loved best!

Normally a red carpet event like the Golden Globes or the Oscars is a smokey eyes and tumbling waves affair. Not this year. Celebrities on the 2011 GG red carpet mostly sported glowing peaches and cream complexions (Scarlett Johansson), pale pink pouts (Lea Michele), nude eyes (Michelle Williams) and chic chignons (Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, natch). Is the Black Swan effect permeating beauty as much as it is fashion?

Only racy ladies including January Jones and Piper Perabo amped it up with perfectly red pouts.

When hair wasn't tied or twisted up a la Natalie Portman, it came in uber-shiny waves like Anne Hathaway and Leighton Meester. All in all, the look was clean, glowing, angelic and definitely pretty.
