How to copy Sienna Miller’s Old Hollywood waves
Perhaps Sienna Miller wanted to off-set some of that butt-kicking, gun-wielding action in GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra by pulling out these uber-glam waves at the LA premiere? Whatever the reason, we've been drooling over her super-glam retro curls and got hairstylist Adir Abergel to show us how to do it in four easy steps:
1. Smooth and build body
First, Abergel gave Sienna a strong side parting, then applied Zero Humidity Frizz Control, £19, from roots to ends, then Bouffant, £16, both by Frederic Fekkai (hqhair.com) at the roots for extra oomph.
2. Blow-out smooth
Next, he created a smooth, bouncy texture by blowdrying Sienna's hair smooth with a round brush.
3. Tong and pin
Then, using a 1¼ curling iron, he tonged Sienna's lengths (leaving the roots flat), then pinned the curl to her head until cool. "After 10 minutes, I removed the pins and brushed her hair through for soft, bouncy waves," says Abergel.
4. Fix those flyaways
To finish, Abergel rubbed a little Nonchalent Cream, £16, Frederic Fekkai (hqhair.com) between his palms and "applied to the roots of her hair to smooth away those tiny flyaways". A light spray of hairspray locked in those gorge waves.
